Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bradford Council. As a key member of our Catering and Cleaning Services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and presentation to meet high standards of quality and presentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Work collaboratively with our team to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Support the kitchen manager in maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and managing kitchen equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Basic English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
