About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Home Administrator to join our team at Crooton. As a key member of our management team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient running of our high-quality care home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and promote a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Manage enquiries and show rounds of the home for prospective families, answering queries and managing the customer database to support commercial performance and conversion of enquiries.
  • Drive occupancy and reputation of the care home as part of a community engagement team.
  • Support residents and families by managing feedback with a focus on customer care.
  • Assist with the recruitment of home staff, completing employment new starter checks and arranging inductions.
  • Complete payroll preparation for home-based staff.
  • Provide advice and guidance to employees on queries using HR tools and resources.
  • Ensure all personal files are stored securely.
  • Attend meetings and produce accurate notes and minutes where required.
  • Ensure all rotas are complete.
  • Manage safe contents, petty cash, and resident fund accounts.
  • Update ad-hoc training, supervisions/appraisals, and fire drills on staff records.
  • Offer guidance on staff development opportunities, including signposting to apprenticeships and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Previous involvement in HR administration and recruitment.
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • CIPD qualification would be beneficial.
