No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, and providing person-centered nursing care for the individuals we support
- The safe administration of medication
- Promoting health and wellbeing
- Being the Nurse in Charge of a small unit while on shift
- Managing situations when individuals display behaviors of concern
- Promoting choice, dignity, independence, and respect
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide high-quality nursing care and support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
- Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN
- Knowledge of assessment, admission, and discharge processes
- Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and commitment to working within its Codes of Practice
- Ability to demonstrate a range of clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
