Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our IV Therapy team as a Clinical Nurse Advisor. As a key member of our nursing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the National Health Service (NHS) to promote patient independence and enable them to enjoy a good quality of life at home.
  • Provide care and support for chronically and critically ill patients requiring parental nutrition, IV therapy, and other specialized treatments.
  • Monitor and deliver nutritional support for patients in the comfort of their own homes.
  • Visit patients daily to connect and disconnect them from parenteral feeding systems, ensuring they receive essential nutrients.
  • Facilitate the safe discharge of parenteral nutrition patients in liaison with hospital accounts and provide ongoing support in the community for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage a patient caseload and fulfill all nursing requirements in agreement with the Regional Nurse Manager.
  • Work within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Conduct and professional practice.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a current and valid NMC registration.
  • A minimum of 1 year post-registration clinical experience.
  • Driving license.
  • Ability to work in a one-to-one patient environment and conduct interactions with confidence and professionalism.
  • Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the business.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage own workload.
