Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and uphold comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and legal obligations.
2. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to pinpoint potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
3. Collaborate with various teams to embed safety measures into different processes and projects.
4. Organize and facilitate training sessions to educate staff on safe working practices and emergency protocols.
5. Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and suggest corrective actions to avert future occurrences.
6. Provide training for health and safety and manual handling.
7. Stay informed about relevant health and safety regulations and industry developments to continuously enhance safety practices.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience in health and safety management within the food manufacturing sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FSMA, RIDDOR reports) and workplace safety regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to safety challenges.
- Certification in Health and Safety, such as NEBOSH.
