Job Title: Vehicle Service Technician

Job Summary:

EVEREC is seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Technician to join our team in Norfolk. As a Vehicle Service Technician, you will be responsible for attending client sites to perform essential repair and maintenance of Electric Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of Electric Vehicles, including diagnostic and quality checking of completed work
  • Assembly of Electric Vehicles in production, including assembling/disassembling of Electric Motors, Gearboxes, and Power electronics
  • Reading and understanding technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
  • Frequent travel to clients or suppliers as required across the UK and occasionally internationally

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or HNC/BTEC in Engineering
  • Valid UK driver's license
  • 3 years' experience in breakdown/roadside repairs
  • Experience in the use of diagnostic software
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities, both electrical and mechanical
  • 4 years + experience of vehicle maintenance, pneumatics & hydraulics with electrical bias being an advantage
  • Operate tooling, machinery, and equipment related to assembly, repairs, and modification of Electric Vehicles
  • Strong planning, organizational skills, and high motivation
  • Ability to manage own time while in the field
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure to a high level of accuracy and good attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office suite of applications, specifically: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and PPE
  • Physical fitness required as the role involves lifting and manual handling and operation of equipment and power tools
