About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at BET365. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Bespoke Solutions: Design and implement custom software solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce toil.
  • Automation and Orchestration: Work with automation and orchestration platforms to automate manual activities and improve system reliability.
  • Monitoring and Analytics: Build sophisticated dashboards using telemetry data and monitoring tools to provide real-time insights into system performance.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor colleagues in the use of new technologies and practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
Requirements
  • Excellent Knowledge of SRE Principles: Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles, including SLI's and SLO's.
  • Contemporary Observability Tools: Experience with modern observability tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, and JavaScript.
  • Automation and Orchestration Platforms: Experience with automation and orchestration platforms such as Ansible and Jenkins.
  • Large-Scale Enterprise Experience: Prior experience working in a large-scale, 24/7 enterprise environment.
