About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (Nights) to join our team at KYN Bickley. As a Night Shift Nurse, you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of direct nursing, companionship, and personalized care to all our residents with respect, integrity, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and responding to emergencies.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, including physical and emotional well-being.
  • Manage medication processes, including ordering, storing, and administering medications.
  • Ensure compliance with NMC guidelines and legislation, including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to the care team, including training and development.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating and promoting the KYN values.

About You

  • You will be a Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with a valid and active PIN.
  • You will have experience working as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of the professional standards that registered nurses must uphold, including The Code.
  • You will have experience in administering and recording medication, as well as using medical equipment.
  • You will have a strong understanding of safeguarding adults at risk.
  • You will be patient, empathetic, and able to deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to anticipate problems before they arise.
  • You will be a compassionate, kind, and caring individual.
