The Team

Our Advisory Services Division is committed to providing outstanding service and legal counsel, ensuring an exceptional client experience for businesses across the UK. Everyone may require legal assistance at some point, whether it involves purchasing a new property, resolving a legal dispute, or seeking compensation for a significant accident or medical injury. Our approach is to offer private clients access to legal expertise through approachable professionals who recognize that understanding individual needs is crucial to effective legal representation.

Our Medical Negligence team specializes in advising private clients on matters related to medical negligence complaints and claims.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support comprehensive case management, including the organization of litigation schedules, deadlines, medical documentation, and appointments.
  • Participate in conferences with legal counsel, client meetings, and court appearances as required, which may occur outside standard hours.
  • Prepare document bundles utilizing the case management system.
  • Assist in gathering evidence, including medical records, expert evaluations, statements, and other pertinent documentation.
  • Ensure that all work and collected evidence are meticulously organized and documented in client files.
  • Conduct detailed witness interviews and draft necessary legal documents as needed.
  • Travel to meet clients across the UK.
  • Engage in legal research and preparation of legal documents.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and share ideas and articles.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a degree or LPC, or be pursuing CILEx qualification, with prior experience in litigation preferred.
  • Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong client-focused approach, and professionalism.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, a capacity to meet deadlines, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
  • While comprehensive training will be provided, proficiency in keyboard skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications are crucial.
  • A full, clean driving license is preferred.
