Position: Software Engineer – Renewable Energy Sector

Compensation: £65,000-75,000 + benefits

Work Arrangement: Remote (with occasional office presence)

We are thrilled to partner with Understanding Recruitment in their search for talented Software Engineers to enhance their team as they expand their efforts in promoting renewable energy solutions.

As part of a leading firm specializing in wind, solar, and hydro technologies, you will be instrumental in developing innovative software that aids clients in minimizing their ecological footprint through a recognized service.

A successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in:

  • Preferably Kotlin (or Java)
  • Spring Boot
  • Microservices architecture
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Message queuing systems like Kafka
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD)
