About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Electronics Engineer to join our team at Gardline Limited, a part of the Boskalis group of companies.

As a Senior Marine Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our fleet of vessels, both in the workshops in Great Yarmouth and alongside at various ports. This role offers an exciting opportunity for travel and the chance to work on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal and external suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide service support for Company Operated Vessels, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist in the control of operations within the workshop and workshop staff to meet all departmental deadlines and operational requirements.
  • Contribute to the development, design, and modification of equipment required to fulfill Gardline Positioning requirements.
  • Travel to vessels to supervise, plan, coordinate, and liaise with teams to conduct maintenance plans and equipment installations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effectiveness of the service and promote a positive working environment.
  • Ensure all Company HSSE policies are known and observed, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all staff and stakeholders.
  • Assist with other management duties as requested by the Positioning Manager, with training provided as needed.
Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent qualification/experience in a relevant field.
  • Equipment-specific certification (desirable).
  • Experience in installing sensitive electronic equipment.
  • Previous supervisory experience (desirable).
  • Ability to travel to vessels both in the UK and abroad as required, with flexibility to work at short notice.
