Senior Town Planner or Planning Manager

Location: Hampshire

Salary: Up to £60,000

We are seeking a highly skilled Town Planner at Senior or Planning Manager level to join our regional housebuilder in Hampshire. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing successful planning applications and contributing to the growth of our business.

The Role:

  • Manage planning applications and ensure compliance with local planning policy
  • Compile documentation for planning applications and research previous planning application sites
  • Attend committee meetings and present planning applications
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure up-to-date knowledge of local planning policy
  • Manage external consultants, including engineers, to support planning applications

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience as a Town Planner, ideally with a relevant degree
  • Strong knowledge of local planning policy and experience of speaking at planning committees
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives
