About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at HomeCareDirect. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients with complex needs, including those with brain injuries and multi-sensory impairments.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the care team.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
  • Understanding of complex needs and multi-sensory impairments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills and ability to use care management software.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and respect for client dignity and autonomy.
