We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at N2O. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Assistants and Team Leaders, providing a senior level of experience and knowledge to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the assembly and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Inspect and verify goods received, ensuring they meet quality and quantity standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized store area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Update and manage inventory records on Asset Panda, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Campaign Managers, Field Support Managers, and Suppliers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Coordinate with transport companies to arrange delivery and collection of goods.
- Load and unload goods from company and third-party vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Organize and pack items for dispatch, accurately updating stock levels and records.
- Record and update racking pallet movements, ensuring accurate stock levels and inventory management.
- Produce delivery notes and consignment labels using supplier portals, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Operate company vehicles when necessary, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Support a clean and safe working environment, removing hazardous products and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide cover for the Team Leader role in their absence, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption to operations.
- Support the development and training of junior members of staff, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet business needs and deadlines.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of material management techniques and inventory control methods.
- Ability to work methodically, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and tidy manner.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, and specialist stock tracking software.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and external contacts.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Honesty, reliability, and an organized, methodical approach to work.
- Forklift Licence - Counterbalance, and Full Driving Licence.
Desirable Qualifications:
- NVQ in Warehousing and Storage.
- PAT Certificate and experience.
- Good level of general DIY skills.
