Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team at Foresters Financial. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to analyze specifications and user stories, ensuring accurate documentation and test conditions.
  • Design and create test scripts based on functional specifications, identifying test data requirements and supporting the development of automated regression testing tools.
  • Provide day-to-day support to business users, resolving queries and investigating potential production incident issues.
  • Utilize test automation technologies, continuously maintaining, evaluating, and improving automated tests as necessary.
  • Build working relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure a good understanding of Foresters Financial systems.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in IT project and programme support services, preferably in the Financial Services sector.
  • Experience in testing web-based systems, with a basic understanding of databases and database structures.
  • Knowledge of XML and experience in writing SQL queries/programming.
  • Experience in using selenium, Microsoft Azure DevOps, or similar, as well as exposure to Test Automation frameworks such as Selenium.
  • Exposure to C# development and experience of working in an agile environment, with Scrum Development and testing highly desirable.
  • Graduate qualification (BA or BSc) or equivalent experience, with ISTQB Foundation level software testing certification or working towards qualification.
