Sodexo is seeking a dependable and knowledgeable Security Officer to ensure the safety of our clients' employees, buildings, and assets. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for greeting staff and visitors, monitoring CCTV and access control systems, and providing guidance and advice to visitors, clients, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor CCTV and access control systems to ensure the security and safety of the premises.
  • Provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, and staff on security protocols and procedures.
  • Carry out regular patrols to ensure the security and safety of the premises.
  • Log and transfer calls, relay messages, and provide assistance to visitors, clients, and staff.
  • Interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities.
  • Hold a full current driving license.
  • Have knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures.
  • Have an SIA license (desirable but not essential).

Working Hours:

  • 42 hours per week.
  • Days & Nights 6:00-18:00/18:00-6:00 4 on 4 off.
  • £11.44 per hour.
