Job Title: Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driver to join our Vehicle Solutions team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery and collection of vehicles to customers nationwide, while maintaining accurate vehicle checks and high standards of vehicle cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and preparing a diverse range of vehicles, from small cars to large 7.5T trucks, for rental to our varied customer base.
  • Conducting 22-point safety and pre-rental checks to ensure vehicles are in excellent condition.
  • Valeting vehicles to the highest standards, taking pride in presenting them to customers in excellent condition.
  • Delivering and collecting vehicles as part of a team, using a company vehicle.
  • Representing our brand as the face of Radius Vehicle Solutions, delivering vehicles in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Inspecting vehicles with customers present, capturing signatures in acceptance of Terms and Conditions.
  • Demonstrating key features and controls to customers upon request.
  • Reporting any vehicle defects or issues to rental administrators for workshop attention.
  • Using our 'Traffic Light System' to manage stock levels and yard space, ensuring accurate categorization of stock availability.
  • Appraising vehicles for sale to motor traders.
  • Moving vehicles between branches to maintain equal stock levels.

Requirements:

  • Holding a full driving license is essential for this role.
  • Due to our Motor Traders Insurance Policy, we cannot accept applicants under the age of 25.
  • Experience driving commercial vehicles, such as LWB panel vans, dropside tippers, and luton boxes, is highly desirable.
  • Being a self-motivating, punctual individual with flexibility in start and finish times.
  • Dynamically adapting to new tasks and changing priorities in line with customer and internal demand.
  • Being work-proud and understanding the value of your contribution to the business and customers.
