We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at a special needs school in Cambridge. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) to achieve their full potential.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity (8:30am - 3:30pm) that requires no prior school experience. We welcome graduates, support workers, healthcare assistants, youth workers, and individuals with personal experience to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with MLD in small groups or one-to-one basis to improve engagement, interaction, and attainment.
- Develop your LSA skills and work closely with parents to ensure a seamless transition between school and home.
- Build strong relationships and rapport with individual children, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
As a Support Worker with Protocol Education, you will receive:
- Free online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training.
- Full assistance with DBS checks and subscription to the DBS Update Service.
- A competitive salary, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
