About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Engineer to join our client's engineering team in the Compact Plant industry. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending breakdowns, servicing, and performing Preventive Maintenance (PPMs) on industrial scale compactor systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend breakdowns, service, and PPMs on industrial scale compactor systems
  • Use manual hand tools, electrical hand tools, lifting equipment, and hot working tools to perform tasks
  • Carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding, and hydraulic system maintenance
  • Manage time effectively to ensure work is completed to a high standard in a timely manner
  • Update job reports and order parts as necessary
  • Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed
Requirements
  • Electrical, electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience is advantageous
  • Previous experience with MIG/TIG Welding is advantageous but not essential
  • A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter, or forklift engineer
  • Experience using electrical and mechanical tools
  • Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical, or field-based engineer, with experience surrounding hydraulic systems/hoses, mechanical fault finding, and repair, alongside some base electrical work
  • Full UK Driver's License
