About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Dogs Trust. As a Senior Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting our veterinary teams across the organization with the care and well-being of dogs in our rehoming process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support veterinary teams with the care and management of dogs in our rehoming process
  • Manage and coordinate our supported vet care schemes, providing financial support for essential veterinary care to owners and dogs in exceptional circumstances
  • Provide cover in our central pharmacy, including dispensing and sending medication
  • Manage and mentor a team of veterinary nurses

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with significant experience, ideally in both the charity sector and recent practice experience. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy working in a team, and have a flexible attitude. You will also have confident IT skills and be self-motivated with a genuine interest in the aims of Dogs Trust.
