Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:

  • Perform service and repair tasks on heavy machinery, including Crawler Cranes and Excavators.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment operates efficiently.
  • Carry out basic maintenance duties such as lubrication, filter changes, and minor repairs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in machinery.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Report any significant issues or safety hazards to the management team.
  • Assist in the repair, replacement, and adjustment of equipment components, including hydraulic systems and engines.

Qualifications for the Field Service Engineer:

  • Preferably hold a Level 3 qualification in plant maintenance or a related field.
  • Previous experience in servicing cranes is preferred, although experience with plant and agricultural machinery will also be considered.
  • Background as a Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, or Mechanic will be taken into account.
