Overview:

Simpson Judge Ltd, a leading regional law firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law and a proven track record of success in managing a caseload and advising clients on employment law issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the Employment Law department and increase revenue.
  • Advise clients on employment law issues, including discrimination claims, harassment, settlement agreements, unfair dismissal, TUPE transfers, restructures/redundancies, and contractual issues.
  • Manage a caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Draft and review HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law.
  • Train and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent client service.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of post-qualified experience as a solicitor or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and experience in managing a caseload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent Welsh speaking and writing skills desired but not essential.
