Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PE Teacher to join our team at a prestigious mixed school in Colchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education at Key Stage 3 and 4.

About the Role

The PE Teacher will be expected to:

  • Teach Physical Education to students at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and achievement
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will need to have:

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Experience of teaching Physical Education at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
