Join our team as a Trainee Installation Engineer

We are seeking motivated individuals to embark on an apprenticeship, committing to a 2-year program that leads to a recognized qualification from a leading industry player.

YOUR ROLE: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Trainee Installation Engineer, you will learn to install, test, and commission dormakaba's advanced automatic door systems. Your projects will involve prestigious construction and refurbishment initiatives across commercial, retail, and hospitality sectors.

Throughout your practical training, you will work towards completing the industry-standard Power Pedestrian Door Apprenticeship, culminating in a certification that is respected in the field.

This is a unique opportunity to enter a dynamic and fulfilling industry, where you can play a vital role in supporting dormakaba's growth and objectives in the UK.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL SKILLS

While prior industry experience is not mandatory, having transferable electromechanical skills or qualifications will be advantageous. To be eligible, you should possess:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • A self-driven attitude with a keen desire to learn
  • A proactive mindset and adaptability in your work approach
  • Level 2 English and Maths or a willingness to achieve this as part of your training
  • A valid UK driving license with minimal penalty points
