About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at Dr. Oetker UK Ltd. As a key member of our Purchasing Department, you will play a crucial role in maximizing our contribution to company profitability through effective purchasing and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute purchasing processes to ensure operational supply of raw materials, packaging, and third-party products to sites.
  • Negotiate and create sustainable supplier contracts and agreements.
  • Review performance with relevant suppliers in terms of quality, delivery, and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information systems, including prices, lead times, payment terms, and terms and conditions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably within an FMCG international environment. You will be comfortable using Microsoft computer packages, ideally with experience in SAP. A confident communicator with a personable and professional manner, you will have the ability to interact and relate to all levels of stakeholders and build strong trusted working relationships with colleagues and external suppliers.
