Position Overview

Wates Group is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Construction Project Coordinator to join our Planned Maintenance division. This role will focus on overseeing a significant Decarbonisation initiative aimed at enhancing sustainability within the social housing sector.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide strong leadership and strategic direction, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of projects while maintaining profitability for Wates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive project timelines and schedules to facilitate precise tracking and reporting of progress.
  • Define quality standards and integrate these into the Quality Management Plan.
  • Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and organizational protocols concerning Health and Safety management.
  • Acquire and manage the necessary resources to deliver projects effectively and professionally, ensuring successful outcomes within established constraints.
  • Guarantee a seamless transition of the project, providing ongoing support to clients and end-users throughout the handover phase.
  • Develop a communication strategy and clarify responsibilities for team members.

We seek a qualified and seasoned Construction Project Coordinator with a background in property services or construction, particularly with experience in Decarbonisation initiatives.

To excel in this role, you will need to be an adept communicator, demonstrating a positive and engaging demeanor while supporting and guiding the organization.
