Job Summary:

Searchability is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team. As an HSE Advisor, you will provide expert advice and guidance on various health and safety matters to our clients' employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to clients' employees.
  • Support the objectives of our clients' health and safety management systems and strategies.
  • Conduct internal audits of health and safety management systems.
  • Deliver comprehensive health and safety inductions to new employees.
  • Collaborate in health and safety meetings, working groups, and steering committees to contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in or lead health and safety investigations as needed.
  • Manage health and safety training requirements and platforms.
  • Coordinate with HR on occupational health, display screen equipment assessments, and other necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in EcoOnline reviews and ensure accurate input of employee and environmental data.
  • Support the planning and execution of external audits, including ISO 45001, 45003, and 14001 management standards.
  • Ensure proper management and storage of health and safety-related documents and artifacts for accessibility by stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH HSE certificate (essential or working towards)
  • Proficiency in functional health and safety management systems.
  • Familiarity with statutory tools and resources for decision support (e.g., HSE and Environment Agency websites).
  • Strong understanding of competency and when to provide advice.

Security Clearance:

The successful applicant must be eligible for or hold active SC Security Clearance.
