About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will work closely with students who require additional support to manage their emotional and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to develop social skills and build healthy relationships.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students in managing their emotions and behaviors.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Requirements:
