Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and LPCB Qualified Sprinkler Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and comprehensive design drawings and specifications using CAD software, conducting hydraulic calculations and other necessary analyses to support design proposals, and collaborating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement fire protection design solutions for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  2. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify design implementation and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  3. Prepare and submit design documentation for approval by relevant authorities.
  4. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  5. Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Review and interpret technical documentation, such as architectural drawings and fire protection codes.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Sprinkler Design Engineer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  2. Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant design tools.
  3. Strong knowledge of fire protection standards and regulations, including BS 9251 and BS EN 12845.
  4. Relevant qualifications in engineering, fire protection, or a related field.
  5. Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
