Job Opportunity: Gas Service & Repair Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join our network as a permanent member, focusing on social housing in the GU postcode area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of residents by servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas systems within social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Safety Inspections: Perform routine safety checks for leaks and emissions to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency call-outs for breakdowns or leaks, prioritizing resident safety.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers about issues, repairs, and safety, providing excellent customer service.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Complete service reports and ensure adherence to regulations, maintaining accurate records.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance to prevent future breakdowns, ensuring the reliability of gas systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Gas Service & Repair Engineer, preferably in social housing.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents and colleagues.
