Job Title: Café/Catering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Café/Catering Manager to join our team at Elior UK Holdings Limited. As a Café/Catering Manager, you will be responsible for managing our front of house and sixth form café in a high-profile Academy based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Motivate and manage a large team of talented staff to deliver an efficient, high-quality service to our customers.
  • Budget Management: Control and manage a budget to ensure the smooth operation of the café.
  • Communication: Ensure ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
  • Menu Management: Print off daily labels and menus to ensure accurate and timely service.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service: Genuine interest in customer service excellence.
  • Front Line Focus: Focused on the front line, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven team leader experience is essential.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and able to work well unsupervised.
  • Catering Experience: Previous experience within catering is essential.
  • Education Environment: Previous experience within an Education environment is desirable.
