We are seeking a highly skilled Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a leading accountancy recruitment agency, we specialize in placing talented accounting professionals in top accounting firms.
This Audit and Accounts Senior role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant to take their career to the next level. You will be working with a diverse range of clients, assisting with the management of high turnover audits, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completion of statutory and management accounts for a diverse range of clients.
- Assist with the management of high turnover audits from planning to completion.
- Associated general accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, and producing reports.
- Mentor junior staff and support their learning and development.
- Monitor client deadlines and ensure timely completion.
- Work alongside the senior management team to support company growth.
- Identify services that will add value to client portfolios.
Requirements:
- Either ATT qualified or studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CA.
- Experience or interest in working as part of an audit team.
- Self-motivated and reliable, with a drive to progress.
- Technically efficient and able to deliver technical knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
