Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking compassionate and empathetic individuals to join our team as Care Assistants. In this role, you will provide essential support to our customers, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist customers with daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Companionship: Engage in conversations, activities, and hobbies to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Medication Assistance: Administer medications according to prescriptions and monitor and report any changes in customers' health conditions.
  • Meal Assistance: Prepare and assist with nutritious meals, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, and ensure a safe and tidy environment for customers.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care activities, observations, and any relevant information.
  • Safety and Well-being: Monitor and address safety concerns, taking proactive measures to prevent accidents or injuries, and provide emotional support during challenging times.
Requirements:
  • Full and valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
  • Located around Reading and Wokingham.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication skills.
