Educational Business Operations Manager

Primary Objective of the Role:
As a seasoned professional, you will excel in steering the operational support of educational environments. In a specialized educational institution, your adaptability to daily challenges will be paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
You will oversee the strategic and operational management of the educational business support team, which includes:
Facility management, financial planning and oversight, resource allocation, and asset management to ensure the institution's fiscal sustainability; operational strategy and administration of all non-instructional functions, including project management and organizational change initiatives.
Ensure adherence to regulations concerning Health and Safety, Human Resources protocols, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliance including GDPR, office management, and financial governance. Promote equitable distribution of responsibilities among all team members.Leadership Duties:
You will undertake supervisory or managerial responsibilities as necessary or in the absence of other leaders. Your responsibilities will include:
Directing the educational business support personnel, particularly managing a team of essential direct reports: Financial Officer, Facilities Coordinator, ICT Specialist, HR Officer, and Administrative Coordinator.
Proactively manage all institutional contracts, including outsourced services such as catering, IT support, licensing, HR consultancy, Health & Safety, and Data Protection.The role will require you to provide robust leadership to ensure that support services (including outsourced functions) deliver exceptional customer service and align with the institution's overarching mission and objectives.
Job Role Overview:Line Management and Performance Evaluation
- Provide comprehensive leadership to the Business Support Team within the institution.
- Ensure a performance appraisal framework is established for support staff and oversee its implementation.
- Conduct objective moderation and performance assessments to guarantee fair application of policies across the team.
- Carry out performance reviews for those support staff under your direct supervision.
