Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team based at our office in the UK to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the procurement team to achieve key results in support of the business and the company's external supply chain.
• Develop and drive strategy, partnering with legal and contract teams to negotiate contract solutions that support business KPIs and mitigate supply risk.
• Develop the supplier base through performance monitoring, improvement plans, and supplier risk mitigation plans.
• Identify, rationalize, and create strategies for the supply chain based on supplier competency and value for respective commodities/sub-commodities.

Requirements

• Experience in commodity management, procurement management, or senior technical buying role, ideally from an aerospace background.
• Commercially minded with the ability to deliver innovative solutions to commercial problems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present solutions for stakeholder approval.
• Confident decision-making and negotiation skills, with strong IT skills and knowledge of ERP systems.
