We are seeking a dedicated HSE professional with a strong background in chemical engineering or industrial manufacturing to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd.

As the primary COMAH expert on site, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with the COMAH regulations, working closely with departmental managers to uphold the Company's Upper Tier status.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a key stakeholder in various COMAH disciplines, including ATEX, MATTE, DSEAR, SIL, HAZOP, PHR, LOPA, Human Factors, and MAH.
• Participating as a member of the Site Incident Controller Emergency Team.
• Coordinating the Company's Integrated Management Systems in alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, collaborating with the Quality Assurance Manager to meet statutory obligations and international standards.
• Managing and monitoring all environmental aspects of the site in accordance with COMAH, EPR, and ISO 14001.
• Leading investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Overseeing waste disposal and recycling activities on site.
• Serving as the nominated Company DGSA advisor.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A degree in chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline (preferred but not essential).
• A Health & Safety Qualification, such as a NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma (desirable).
• 5-10 years of experience engaging with COMAH at an Upper Tier Site and Environmental Permitting Regulations.
• A solid understanding of quality management systems, standards, procedures, and internal auditing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
