Bulk HGV Driver Position Overview

At Air Products, we are seeking a skilled Bulk HGV Driver to join our team. As a Bulk HGV Driver, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers and own sites in a safe and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety rules, processes, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform pre- and post-vehicle checks in accordance with DVSA guidelines and Air Products standards.
  • Load, unload, and manage products in accordance with Distribution working instructions and procedures.
  • Complete all required training and maintain a high level of compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure tachograph infringement levels meet DVSA and Traffic Commissioner expectations.
  • Perform other duties as required in accordance with the Bulk Driver Trade Union Recognition Agreement.
Requirements
  • LGV 1 license (HGV Class 1/C+E unrestricted).
  • Proven tanker driving experience and a minimum of three years consecutive driving experience operating the class of vehicle that will be operated at Air Products.
  • Valid ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum (refreshed every 5 years).
  • Valid Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status.
  • Proven track record of working in a safety-first environment.
  • Able to work under own initiative with excellent communication skills.
