The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead our hotel reception team as a Hotel Reception Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, providing excellent customer service to our guests, and leading a team of receptionists to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the hotel reception, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Provide guidance and support to the reception team, ensuring they are trained and motivated to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences, including room reservations, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Handle guest complaints and inquiries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor the occupancy levels and revenue of the hotel and adjust staffing levels accordingly.
  • Ensure accurate billing and payment procedures are followed.
  • Monitor and manage the hotel's online reputation by responding to guest reviews and feedback.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a hotel reception or front office role, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation and management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
