We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions
  • Empty bins, dust surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, to complete tasks efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure seamless operations

About You

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. If you are a motivated and reliable individual who takes pride in their work, we encourage you to apply.

As a Cleaning Operative with Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate, 22.5 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 5 years' service), plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, and a Defined Contribution pension scheme.
