Job Summary:
We are seeking to recruit Care Workers to join our team at Derbyshire County Council. The role involves delivering a range of tasks to clients over a 24-hour period, 7 days a week, with the main aim of promoting and maintaining clients' independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering personal care and support to clients
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as dressing, undressing, and meal preparation
- Administering medication and monitoring clients' health and wellbeing
- Supporting clients to access communal areas and working alongside healthcare professionals, housing teams, families, and colleagues
- Responding to unplanned emergencies and reporting to the designated senior officer
Requirements:
- No previous experience is necessary, as we will provide all necessary training and support
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a three-shift rota system, including early mornings, afternoons, and waking nights
- Enhanced rates of pay for working hours after 7pm at night and before 7am
Benefits:
