About the Role:

As a Senior Planning Policy Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the effective development and regeneration of our client's management of discrete research and policy development projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of planning policies and research projects
  • Providing specialist planning policy advice to stakeholders
  • Cross-Council working to deliver corporate objectives, including infrastructure funding and delivery
  • Ensuring timely and meaningful engagement of other Council Divisions, elected members, statutory and non-statutory bodies, developers, and public stakeholders in the planning process
