About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Lead to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering major transformational projects and programmes in response to the local and national transformation agendas for health and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of major transformational projects and programmes, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and produce business cases, programme/project initiation documents, and other relevant documentation.
  • Manage relationships with staff at all levels across Adults & Children's Social Care, Leeds NHS Trusts, and Independent & Voluntary Sector providers and carers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design, deliver, and evaluate projects, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Person Specification
  • Management or Business-focused degree or equivalent gained by experience and training.
  • Extensive experience of leading, managing, and contributing to projects relating to transformation and service improvement.
  • Experience of managing competing priorities, adapting to changing circumstances, and working effectively with other teams and partners.
  • Ability to plan and facilitate workshops, chair meetings, and motivate staff.
  • Understanding of the importance of equal opportunities in employment and service delivery.
