Position Overview:

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the senior Portfolio Manager, concentrating on alpha research and the formulation of strategies, particularly in the realm of portfolio construction and optimization for a newly established systematic equities division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in alpha research and strategy formulation, with a primary emphasis on portfolio construction and optimization.
  • Design mid-frequency trading strategies, focusing on systematic equities.
  • Utilize comprehensive financial insights and advanced statistical methodologies to investigate, assess, and harness a wide range of datasets, creating robust predictive models for application in the investment framework.
  • Work in tandem with the Portfolio Manager within a collaborative environment, actively participating in the overall investment strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in systematic equities.
  • Proficiency in portfolio optimization and construction methodologies.
  • A Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field from a highly regarded institution.
