About the Role

Elliott Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full finance responsibility, including the production of financial reports and information to the group (weekly and monthly)
  • Management of cash in the business, including external financing facilities and decisions around payments to third-party and group suppliers
  • Statutory accounts responsibility and company secretarial duties
  • Budgeting and forecasting for both profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash, as well as short-term cash forecasting
  • Responsible for sign-off on product purchase orders and driving stock management
  • Responsible for insurance, including general business and credit insurance
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with external finance providers
  • Responsible for managing the IT relationship with external functions

Requirements

  • Technically strong with a good understanding of cash and working capital management
  • Understanding of working capital finance facilities, including invoice finance and stock finance
  • Flexible approach with a commercial view and understanding for decision-making
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the group board
  • Able to understand and support the operational areas of the business
  • Good systems skills, including Microsoft Office, with implementation beneficial
