About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Content Designer to join our User Experience (UX) team at Boots. As a Content Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating accessible, user-focused content that enhances our customers' digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement content strategies that align with our business goals and user needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers and researchers, to design and develop user-centered content.
  • Write and edit content that is clear, concise, and engaging, ensuring it meets our accessibility standards.
  • Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content design.
  • Work closely with our UX team to ensure content is integrated into our design process and meets our design language guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of our design system and content guidelines.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve our content and user experiences.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in content design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience designing and writing for accessibility standards, such as WCAG.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative content solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a focus on delivering high-quality content.
Desirable Skills
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and Jira.
  • Experience working within a design system and brand guidelines.
  • Familiarity with agile and lean methodologies.
  • A degree in English, journalism, communications, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
