Electrical Assembler Job Description

Job Summary

The Electrical Assembler will be responsible for assembling electrical components, cables, and connectors according to established procedures and specifications. This is a junior role that offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in the electrical assembly industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic electrical assembly in line with drawings and specifications supplied by the Design Team
  • Ensure machine build times are kept within budgeted times by Production
  • Report any quality failures or problems related to equipment operation to the team leader
  • Report component shortages to the team leader and ensure sufficient supplies of consumable components
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements to support Edale's continuous improvement program
Person Specification
  • Basic knowledge of reading and understanding electrical drawings
  • Basic experience with hand and electrical tools
  • Basic experience with panel wiring and electromechanical assembly
  • Ability to perform simple soldering tasks and terminate wires as needed for basic electronic repairs
