Automotive Technical Trainer Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Automotive Technical Trainer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to adults in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training materials and courses to meet the needs of our adult learners
  • Manage and teach adults through our certification programs, new model training, and ongoing knowledge updates
  • Maintain safe learning environments and promote Health and Safety
  • Occasionally travel to Europe for train-the-trainer sessions
  • Feed back results of practical and theoretical assessments
  • Support and mentor apprentices to ensure each reaches their maximum potential
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records
  • Contribute to the implementation of continual improvement
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits, including observations of teaching and learning

About You:

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Appropriate level of occupational technical competence
  • Up-to-date technical expertise, practical skills, and knowledge within an automotive environment
  • A teaching qualification (either possessed or willing to work towards an approved Level 3 qualification)
  • A full driving license
  • English and maths to at least Level 2
