Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a thriving mainstream primary school in North London. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil in Year 2, helping them to navigate the school day and succeed in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to a Year 2 pupil during lessons and other school activities.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor the pupil's progress and provide feedback to the teacher and SENCO.
  • Adapt learning materials and activities to suit the pupil's needs and abilities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one through Reeson Education.
