Job Summary:

Ringway is a leading provider of highway maintenance services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Management Operations Supervisor to join our team in Surrey. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of traffic management services on our Surrey Highways Contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely deliver the traffic management service on the Surrey Highways Contract.
  • Ensure the service is delivered in accordance with the contractual obligations as agreed with Surrey County Council.
  • Carry out regular safety and compliance audits.
  • Ensure that the Performance Indicators are monitored and targets achieved.
  • Understand and promote the Company Policy relating to Ringway operations in Surrey.
  • Maintain the highest standards of environmental, safety and health in line with company policy and industry guidelines.
  • Plan & Schedule works to the operational team.
  • Ensure the operational team are trained and competent to undertake the roles required of them.
  • Track operational staff's progression in training and future requirements for maximising the capabilities of the team.
  • Identify and allocate specialist contractors for works as the need arises.
  • Manage assets & stock within the depots.

Requirements:

  • Driving Licence
  • At least 5 years experience in a highways/civil engineering supervisory role
  • Competence with using Microsoft Office computer programmes, such as Word, Excel, Project, TEAMS
  • Flexible and approachable attitude
  • Demonstrable knowledge of traffic management and maintenance processes
  • Lantra M6 & Streetworks Unit 10 (min 3 years)
