Job Title: Engineering Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Arla Foods Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our dairy process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical, mechanical maintenance, and controls fault finding of all dairy process equipment.
  • Ensure the legal compliance and efficient operation of all plant within budget while instilling an atmosphere of continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with all departments, including site Energy Centre, to ensure effective customer relations.

Requirements:

  • Recognized time-served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline with HNC/HND.
  • Demonstrate logical thought processes and ways of working.
  • 3 years recent detailed experience within an automated process environment – Food/Drinks/Brewing/Pharmaceutical.
  • Technical hands-on expert in all process-related plant and equipment Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation.
  • Skilled in reading SCADA visualizations.

Functional Skill Set:

  • Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM)
  • Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
  • Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)
  • Use of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – SAP Maintenance Module
  • Deliver day-to-day and preventive maintenance on all site servers, drivers, and automation systems.
  • Participate in and lead on local CI initiatives, taking ownership of projects and delivering tangible results.
